How to strengthen agrologistics in Caribbean countries? The case of Curaçao

This World Bank Blog discusses a recent food security assessment performed on the Caribbean island of Curaçao.
The assessment discussions centered on how Curaçao’s family farms can better serve the local food market, while facing various agrologistic challenges and costs, and dealing with fierce competition from imported foods. The findings underscore the importance of investing in agrologistics and market access in order to, among other things, improve the competitiveness of family farms, and increase food security on Curaçao.
