Ms. Evirsa Carolina was born and raised in Curaçao. After obtaining her BSc. in Business Administration, she moved to the United Kingdom, where she obtained her MSc. in Economics. She is currently working on her PhD.

Over the course of her career as an economist and policy advisor she has specialized in various economic and financial areas, among which, public finances, alternative finance (including blockchain & cryptocurrencies), and climate change.

Ms. Carolina loves to read, do research, and writing articles and papers. To date, she has co-written several working papers on the public finances of Curaçao, and other economic topics.
